How It Works

Our seekers can search for free on our marketplace because suppliers you see listed pay a membership fee to advertise their gear and services on iseekplant.

With the info you put in your search, we order the results by:

• What is the most relevant to that machine or service.
• Who is within 100km of your search area.
• The most recommended suppliers.
• Suppliers with the highest and fastest response rates.
• A mix of smaller and larger suppliers with that machine or service offering.
• And sometimes we'll also add in some alternative machines or services that might get the job done.

Our 30,000+ suppliers fit into 3 buckets:

• Unverified Supplier: These listings haven't been manually verified by us yet.
• Verified Supplier: We've checked that this listing has accurate information.
• Recommended Supplier: These suppliers are trusted, quote quickly and keep their listings up-to-date.

You can call, email or SMS our suppliers at any time. We even give you ways to quickly convert any individual communication into a multiple quote request and invite other suppliers into the conversation. This is done through our Quick Quotes tool.

If you communicate through our system in any way, we mask your contact details and the details of the suppliers.

On both sides of the communication, we change phone numbers and email addresses, so in the initial conversations you are communicating through our technology safely.

Once you have selected the partner, or handful of partners you want to continue to work with, you're free to exchange real contact information.

We do track all communications through our marketplace up until seekers and suppliers exchange their real contact details of their own free will. This is for two very good reasons:

Protecting seeker details: We don't want our seekers being hounded by multiple suppliers when they're busy on-site. Therefore, we mask seeker details so they're in control of who they hand their details to.

Proving our system works to suppliers: Our suppliers need proof that iseekplant does infact generate inbound leads for their business and to do this, we need to track communications through our marketplace to attribute won jobs and revenue to iseekplant.

We've built a network of rated and recommended suppliers whose fleet and capability have been manually verified by the team at iseekplant.
