Shipment visibility and tracking

20Cube offers our clients a state of the art, cargo and documentation service through the use of our PO (Purchase Order) to POD (Proof of Delivery) supply chain tool.

These tools enable all parties involved in the transaction to update, upload information and documentation and to have total visibility of a shipment from the time the purchase order has been placed on the shipper, till such time that the cargo has been delivered to the buyers’ warehouse and last mile delivery destinations.

This supply chain tool, referred to as “MyHub” ensures that the origin freight forwarding office follows up cargo readiness with the shipper at origin, makes the vessel/airline booking, follows up on cargo loading at origin ports and at transit ports. The system ensures that the shipper uploads the necessary documentation into MyHub. All these detailed data and documentation is visible to the consignee and also the destination freight office and Customs broker. What this means is that cargo can be precleared pending arrival at the destination. 

The technology helps in tracking of shipments, alerts all concerned of arrivals, delays or short landing of cargo. Information and data from MyHub can feed into other supply chain systems as it is API friendly. In summary, the system will ensure smooth flow of goods and documentation, minimize exceptions at destination, and also provide visibility for effective planning and execution at destination.

The real time data allows for proactive management of the supply chain, with online access to identify and minimize foreseeable disruption. This supports timely and cost effective delivery to Bevchain and Brown-Foreman.

Import Declarations and Customs and Quarantine Clearance

20Cube clearly understands the importance of pre-clearing shipments with Customs, if possible, prior to arrival of goods. 20Cube, in conjunction with the nominated ocean freight provider, will liaise with the shipper to ensure earliest receipt of all relevant commercial import documentation for the preparation and submission of a timely and accurate Customs Entry Declaration.

20Cube would also manage the communication and inspection process with Australia Customs for any import shipments that require any relevant Customs and quarantine Inspections. We would also highlight that 20Cube’s data management system, MyHub, can store all relevant commercial and Customs Entry documentation to assist with any Customs Audits, and also to provide any relevant summary information reports .
