OUR HISTORY

ATP Consulting Engineers — Noise and Vibration Specialists — continues the proud tradition of consulting engineering on the Gold Coast started by Burchill Partners in 1974. The specialised acoustic engineering capability was established at Burchill Partners in 2002, by Sasho Temelkoski, the managing director of ATP Consulting Engineers. In 2006, Burchill Partners became part of the publicly listed VDM Group and Sasho, with a team of eight specialised acoustical engineers, expanded the business with projects and customers based throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

The acoustic team of VDM Consulting, that is now the core of ATP Consulting Engineers, operated from offices on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Mackay and Airlie Beach in Queensland as well as in Sydney, NSW, Perth, WA and Darwin, NT. Through the network of now independent consultancies in all of these cities, ATP Consulting Engineers provides cost effective noise and vibration monitoring and assessment services and can attend to site inspections with local representatives.

We have shaped the acoustic environment of Queensland with traffic noise impact assessments and design of noise control solutions for over 14 years. When the large scale residential developments in Helensvale, Coomera, Upper Coomera, Oxenford and Pimpama were taking shape, our acoustic engineers were there. We have provided traffic noise control solutions for most of the large scale residential developments in the Brisbane to Gold Coast corridor since 2002. 

The experience in acoustic assessments for large scale master planned residential developments was recognised by our clients in Western Australia and ATP Consulting currently is engaged to carry out multimodal (major highway and railway line) transport noise impact assessments for residential developments in the developing corridor between Perth and Mandurah in Western Australia.
