The Batchelor Construction Group (BCG) is a civil, earthmoving and building construction company based in Southern Tasmania and provides a full suite of services underpinning the infrastructure development for private, local and state government plus associated entities, throughout Tasmania.

The building construction envelopes both commercial and residential complexes, from greenfield through to upgrades and improvements.

The group also provides wet and dry plant hire packages plus heavy haulage transport services across the State Our major focus has always been to deliver ultimate customer satisfaction whilst maintaining a safe working environment for our workforce.

BCG has the general ethos that where efficiencies or savings can be identified through alternative construction methods or through minor design changes. Its people and management pride themselves on being a ‘solutions-based company’ that proactively seeks benefits for all parties. This has been exemplified on a number of larger projects, where significant cost savings have been passed on to our clients. A win-win for all.

‘We are able to offer Statewide and Interstate (National) transport of equipment up to a combined GVM ( Gross Vehicle Mass) of 106 Tonnes.

Our fleet currently comprises of 3 x Prime Movers and 3 x Low Loader Trailer beds’.

Through our Batchelor Civil Contracting division, we are able to offer a range of plant and equipment in both wet and dry hire combinations. Furthermore we are able to deliver and collect from your site by our Heavy Haulage team. We operate State wide across Tasmania.
