ABOUT US

Founded in 1978, Beehive Vinyl Products Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated textile products fabrication company based in Townsville, North Queensland. We continue to maintain a long and successful history in providing vinyl, shade cloth, canvas and other industrial textile manufactured goods as well as repairs, alterations and services to the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial markets.

The company is still proudly owned and operated today by the original founders, Roger and Margaret Bishop.

Commitment to quality and to the customer, enhanced the growth of the company from a staff of just two to an employer of twenty three valued staff along with several subcontractors. We are the largest specialised textile fabrication company within the Townsville area.

Located at 35 - 41 Keane Street, Currajong in Townsville, our modern workshops with a floor area of approx. 3200 square metres, is located on 8250 square metres of land enabling us to fabricate a range of large sized products and allow safe and secure storage of customer's plant, machinery, equipment and vehicles.

It is the aim of Beehive Vinyl Products to fabricate, construct and repair products to the Highest Quality Standard whilst complying with customer's requirements. The management and staff of Beehive Vinyl Products P/L are fully committed to the successful continuation of a Quality System to satisfy and be compliant to the International Standard IS0 9001 & Australian Standard AS3902.

Many years experience in the industrial textile industry coupled with innovative design and skilled qualified tradesmen, enables us to deliver a diverse range of quality canvas, vinyl, shade cloth & industrial textile products. We welcome challenges of being able to design and custom make products to meet client's requirements and solutions to their problems. From shadesail structures, to quality toolbags, stinger net floating booms, to vinyl waterproofing of helicopter decks for the Emergency Services, truck curtains, seat covers, medical equipment bags, boat canopies, dam liners..…our capabilities are extensive & diverse.

Equipped with the latest specialised technology from our computer controlled Plotter Cutter to High Frequency Welders enables us to produce accurate, cost efficient and quality fabrication of our products. Our High quality German made automated sewing machines provide quality, precision, safety & speed in our manufacturing sewing work. Our assortment of automated machinery including automated eyelet machines, sewing tacking machines, automated webbing & rope cutting & measuring machines, enable us to remain cost effective & provide our customers with quality finished products at reasonable prices. We embrace new technologies with machinery and equipment that provide a cost benefit to the customers along with any improvements in our quality standards of finished products.

DAM AND POND LINERS

Beehive Vinyl supply & pre-fabricate temporary or permanent liners for dams, channels, secondary containment, storages, tanks, environmentally sensitive liquid & solid containment, containments covers, odour control covers, decorative lakes or ponds.

With its sister company Australian Lining Company, supply & installation of large Geosynthetics including Geomembranes can be completed for an extensive range of specialised applications including Heap Leach Pads, Reservoirs, Dams, Landfills, Secondary Containments, Floating Covers, Tanks, Aquaculture Ponds, Liquid and Solid Contaminants, Molasses Storages, Toxic Waste Storages, Decorative Lakes and Ponds and Environmental Sensitive Applications and erosion control applications.

We have a wide range of lining options and materials to suit a range of applications including flexible Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVC’s, Elvaloys, Geotextiles and others. We can offer you advice as to what options are best suited for your particular application to ensure quality product at a cost effective price .

Manufacturers of some liner materials we supply & fabricate can offer conditional UV degradation warranties on their materials up to 25 years. Other liners that are required as temporary short term liners can be fabricated from more economical material to suit budgets. We can supply liners are certified potable for drinking water & food grade applications.

The flexible liner materials we provide can be prefabricated in our workshop where welding methods used are to the manufacturer's recommendations and we inspect & test our welds to ensure high quality seams are achieved. Maximum size of prefabricated liners are restricted by the type of material being used along with the size that the liner can be safely transported, handled and deployed on site.
