In 1986, after 25 years in the earthmoving industry, John Davison courageously launched a new South Australian earthmoving enterprise, Davison Earthmovers. Since then, the company has been steadily building it’s capacity and reputation to become one of the most well-recognised and respected earthmovers in Adelaide, South Australia.

Davison Earthmovers is a wholly South Australian based, owned and operated industry entity offering earthmoving and construction services in the rail, commercial, industrial and civil sectors.

From our commencement with just two pieces of heavy plant, a small worksho, and a home office, the company has grown to over 30 pieces of heavy plant, modern offices and systems of work supported by a large workshop and yard to service our needs.

Davison Earthmovers continually strives to develop and utilise innovative work practices and advances in technology to improve our efficiency and service proposition to our clients. We focus on a collaborative approach with clients with the aim of developing beneficial outcomes for them by working through project design and constructability issues/requirements.

FRONT END LOADERS

Utilised for bulk movement of materials our loaders are equipped with quick release bucket, pallet fork and crane jib attachments.

LOADER BACKHOE

Various 4WD Backhoe with four in one loader bucket, extender hoe and pallet forks.

EXCAVATORS

A range of Excavators; from 1.7 tonne to 29 tonne including steel track, rubber track, rubber tyred and hi-rail.

Attachments include tilt hitches and GPS machine along with a variety of other options.

Our rubber tyre excavators can be driven on the road for easy and quick transport from job to job as well providing minimal damage to surfaces. They have a number of functions that cannot be achieved by conventional track excavators.

Various rock breakers, auger and bucket attachments are available

GRADERS

Various graders up to 14 foot blade , equipped with hydraulic controlled 3-dimensional Trimble laser systems. This application makes for a more productive, accurate and cost effective machine.

SKID STEER LOADERS

Skid steer loaders with quick release four in one bucket, tooth bucket, grader blade, backhoe attachment, road sweeper, pallet forks and auger attachments.

COMPACTION EQUIPMENT

An extensive range of compaction equipment with vibrating plates up to 10 tonne. 

WATER TRUCKS AND OVERHEAD TANKS

Multiple water trucks of varying capacity designed to disperse water evenly in large volumes for conditioning ground for compaction.

We have designed and built a 20,000-litre mobile overhead storage tank to bulk fill water trucks to cut down lay time.

SURVEY EQUIPMENT
Multiple robotic 3-dimensional control total stations along with various laser levels.
