Detector Loop Services have over 25 years experience in detector loop installations and working with intelligent traffic management systems and are Pre-Qualified and Registered Vic Roads Contractors.

MANAGEMENT TEAM:

STEVE SARKIES - Steve has vast experience in the development of traffic detector loop installation in Victoria, having been involved in initial test installations with CRB (later RoSTA, RTA & Vic Roads) in the 1970's, working for the origins of DLS and L M Ericssons, Phillips , AWA & Eagle Traffic Systems. He was an initial partner in the creation of Detector Loop Services in 1980, and has managed detector loop and other intelligent traffic control systems since then.

ED BARLOW - Ed has worked as financial controller with contracting companies since 1962 which led to the development of Detector Loop Services, having teamed with Steve in 1971. He now controls the administration, finance and with Steve, personalised customer service

Supply of loop cable, LSS range loop sealants & roadstud superior adhesive systems (Australian Agent)

Detector loop system consultants for special applications such as wheelchair & bicycle loops, I.D. loops etc.

Intelligent road management systems including road studs,speed detectors etc.

Maintenance service on replacement loops

New installation of detector loops including NEW EZYLOOP systems, incorporating fully encapsulated loops adhesed between road surfaces at resealing stage leaving an 'uncut' road surface with loops connected without further traffic disruption..

Detector Loop Services do not employ sub-contractors - we have a full time staff experienced in all in-road installations and traffic Management.

Detector Loop Services developed LSS Loop Sealant, which is a non-toxic two part Epoxy which can be used in almost any conditions (wet, dry, windy).

Detector Loop Services have exported plant,wire and LSS sealant to Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Phillippines,Quater and NewZealand.

Detector Loop Services supply and work for many major contractors in Australia & overseas in conjunction with Vic Roads & other authorities.

DLS have allied agents in other Australian states and overseas and can co-ordinate installations as required.
