CONCRETE AND ASPHALT CUTTING 44HP DIESEL ROAD SAW
We have a new 44hp Diesel Road saw which cuts to depths of approximately 400mm in concrete, asphalt and other masonry products such as tiles and paving.
Diesel powered to reduce fuel hazard and environmentally more efficient.
Commonly requested jobs are:
• Cutting existing concrete into manageable pieces for removal (by hand or machine).
• Stress relief cutting in new concrete.
• Kerb and channel cutting for driveways
• Cutting chases in concrete for electrical cables or plumbing services.
• Pattern cutting in new or existing concrete.
• Cutting bitumen road and path.
• Cutting suspended slabs.
Road sawing can be carried out to a variety of depths using either single blade or double blade options, depending on the width of cut required.
Our operators are trained to cut a variety of surfaces and products in sometimes hard to get at areas. The use of hand saws is sometimes required to accompany a road saw for hard to reach places where there is limited or no access for a road saw.
CORE DRILLING
Core drilling services are available in a range of diameters and depths to suit individual client's needs.
Our expert operators are trained to drill through a range of materials including, concrete, asphalt, brickwork, paving and stone.
Often required for plumbing services, electrical wiring, bolt or fastening holes and ventilation ducts.
Horizontal and vertical drilling in difficult to access places is common.
Operators are trained in the use of elevated work platform and Boom and are licensed to perform high risk work.
WALL SAWING
We are experienced in cutting through single brick, concrete tilt panels and stone walls.
Often cuts are made for doorways or windows in existing structures.
Double brick and thick concrete or stone walls are able to be cut with the use of a ring saw to a depth of 265mm from one side.
This provides an accurate cut sometimes required for a neat finish or where access is restricted.
STRESS RELIEF CUTTING
Stress relief cutting in concrete is required to prevent unsightly and damaging cracks forming in new concrete.
Generally cuts are placed 3 to 4m apart in slabs, driveways and path.
The cut is approximately 25mm deep or ¼ the thickness of the slab.
This means as the concrete dries, the cracks form in the cut we make therefore controlling the cracking.
Without this control joint or cut, the concrete cracks of its own accord, this weakens the concrete and eventually it breaks up into unsightly pieces which have to be replaced.
DEMOLITION SERVICES
Exactacut provides a demolition service which is job specific being that no two jobs are the same.
Each project is assessed on an individual basis.
We can organise the removal of concrete and masonry structures, walls, slabs, etc for our clients.
Utilising bobcat and excavators is common and often lowers the cost to the client as larger pieces of concrete and rumble can be removed meaning lesser cutting cost and time savings.
Alternatively in difficult to access areas manual removal of cut pieces is the only option.
We provide the labour and safe strategy to deal with such operations taking the physically demanding work out of the client’s hands.
Please call for a detailed consultation for demolition work.
