Howarth Drilling Pty Ltd

Howarth Drilling is a small drilling operation based in Morriset NSW and was formed in 1989 by Warwick Howarth and wife Terry Howarth. Warwick had worked from 1970 to 1986 with hunter valley drilling contractor’s Price and Anderson in various roles. Warwick recognized the opportunity to establish a highly skilled, diverse and reliable business committed to the hunter valley coal industry.

Howarth Drilling initially focused on an emerging underground coal drilling market completing diverse drilling programs including long hole exploration, large diameter ventilation holes, gas drainage and vertical up hole exploration for various clients including Oceanic Coal, Xstrata, Power Coal, Centennial and BHP.

In 1996 Howarth Drilling expanded its operation to offer a complete drilling package including surface and underground drilling.
