FABRICATION OF STRUCTURAL STEEL

Jakes Steel & Welding fabricates projects for Northern Territory infrastructure, mining and general construction divisions. From detailed architectural steel features through to large structures, we provide complete solutions.

TRANSPORT

To ensure timely delivery of completed steel works, Jakes Steel & Welding utilises our own transport. Our prime mover and extendable trailer allow for safe delivery to your site anywhere in the Northern Territory. We also provide a general freighting service.

WELDING

Once the fabrication and quality assurance is finalised, Jakes Steel & Welding can arrange assembly for completed steelworks. We are equipped to perform onsite welding work for a variety of industrial needs as well'

Jakes Steel & Welding commenced business in the Northern Territory in 1981. Our qualified boilermakers have strong capabilities across a number of different sectors, including architectural design and structural steel fabrication. We pride ourselves on our ability to meet specific safety regulations, while also meeting the stringent demands of our clients and their relevant industries.

Our Darwin workshop is within close proximity to Hot Dip galvanisers and industrial painters/blasters, allowing us to further reduce lead times. We are also situated close to Darwin Port and train lines for onsite welding or transport needs. Jakes Steel & Welding also provides complete transportation options for our steel works.
