Brisbane based Lawson Surveys, Consulting Land Surveyors was established in in 1968 by James Venning Lawson. It has been operating in and around South East Queensland since that time. Jim Lawson retired early in 2003, leaving the firm to the Senior Surveyor at the time, Russell Christofis.
Russell grew the business slowly to become one of the most valued and skilled survey companies in Brisbane. Announcing his retirement in early 2016, Russell mentored his Senior Surveyor Ian Gray, imparting his wealth of knowledge in all titling matters and passing the torch of the company on.
Under the exciting new management of the current Director Ian Gray, Lawson Surveys is looking towards the future to expand and continue the quality work that it has built its reputation on.
For many years Lawson Surveys had been located on Macgregor Terrace, Bardon. Unfortunately that premises left no room for growth and as such the company has moved to a larger office in Kelvin Grove.
It is and always has been our aim to work as part of an integrated team with developers, town planners, solicitors, architects, builders and engineers as well as members of the public who need our professional service and advice.
Our clients have the advantage of those many years of experience and the development and technology which our younger staff bring to the firm.
