Leaktech Australia is believed to have been Australia’s first specialist leak detection company since being established around thirty years ago. We are proud of the fact that we have continued to be the industry innovators ever since. We recently released new LEAKTRAKAS technology in all of our vehicles to further enhance our leak detection capability.

Around eighteen years ago, Leaktech branched into underground service locations. Ground Penetrating Radar, Concrete X-ray, Thermal Imaging, Tracer Gas (again first in Australia), Pipeline Assessment and Testing and several other services were added following extensive research and training.

The use of non-destructive high-resolution ground penetrating radar (GPR – Utility Scan) before you core, cut or drill concrete, can greatly reduce the risk to workers cutting through live cables or other hazards. Leaktech’s concrete scanning can accurately indicate the presence and depth of pipes, cables, steel reinforcing, post-tension ducts, any voids in concrete and suspended slabs. This technology greatly increases worker safety.
