Mini Excavations have a customer base extending right across the Gladstone region supplying Gladstone Regional Council, Transport & Main Roads, Gladstone Ports Corpoartion Ltd and numerous other civil contractors, developers and builders both large and small, right down to home owners and farmers who just want a ute or trailer load of wood chip, crusher dust, tea tree mulch or Garden blend.Yard sales are available at our Bassett Street Gladstone Depot.

With have a modern fleet of well maintained NHVR approved PBS quad dogs, super dogs and tandem tippers. All vehicles have GPS tracking. We are Mass and Maintenance managed and have high expectations of our drivers.

Mini Excavations has been operating in Gladstone since 1988. We have Preferred Supplier agreements to manage bulk tipper logistics in our region for Boral Australia supplying materials to their external customers and all their concrete batch plants (including 1,000,000 tonnes barged to the Curtis Island LNG plants). We have a similar arrangement with Sibelco Australia where we supply bulk tippers to cart aglime, roadbase and aggregates from their quarry in Calliope, all over Queensland. 

Mini Excavations have since 1989 provided a skilled workforce and sand extraction expertise for Boral Resources at their Tannum Sands Sand mine, excavating the raw feed, On-site haulage, road building and land rehabilitation on their 400 acre site. Our expertise also includes haul truck and road building for Queensland forestry and Acid sulphate soil treatment for Gladstone Regional Council.

We also have arragements in place to supply sand and aggregates to Sunmix Concrete, Barro group in Brisbane Gladstone Regional Council, Boral Concrete, Bechtel, John Holland Group,McCosker Contracting and a number of the leading major Civil project developers in the region.MANAGEMENT PLAN

Mini Excavations have in place a rigourous and comprehensive Integrated Management system that ensures that our work methods and safety procedures are compatible with all of our customers, who are working to the level of ISO 9001:2008 and 9004:2000. We are committed to continous improvement and use an independent audit of our systems to keep us in the right direction. We have successfully been reveiwed and accepted during the pre-qualification process for the Gladstone Regional Council and the following Internationally recognised Companies.
