CONCRETE SCANNING.

At National Concrete Scanning, we assist our clients in minimising the risks of damage to PT Strands, electrical cable and various other assetts that may be concealed within the concrete slab or various other concrete structures.

GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) is radar based technology that transmits and receives pulses of electromagnetic energy through a surface, such as the ground or concrete. When our state of the art machinery is moved along the surface an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) penetrates the surface and is then reflected back off any object within the slab and our technicians are then able to determine whether the area is safe for drilling, cutting, coring etc.
