Northire (Formerly Mareeba Hire Equipment) has been established for over 30 years and specialises in providing all equipment needs for construction, mining, and the professional trades as well as the DIY market. We are centrally located in Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands which allows us to service the whole of the Cairns hinterlands and Cape York areas completely so our clients can find exactly what they need from one provider while also getting expert advice if they require it.

TEMPORARY FENCING

Safe and secure temporary fencing to suit all WHS requirements especially for the civil, mining, demolition, commercial and construction industries as well as general crowd control for the event industry including concerts, parades, festivals or any public event.

Our "SMARTWELD" temporary fencing system is quick and easy to install, and is ideally suited for rough environments. From the smallest to the largest site, for the shortest to the longest hire period, this system is safe, sturdy, portable and economical.

Fencing

With only 20kg weight spread across the 2.51m long panel, they are also exceptionally light meaning they are the lightest panel used in Australia and can be installed by 1 person very quickly.

The panels are available with the option of either an anti-climb mesh (with long rectangular holes) which is a great option for increased security or a 70 x 70mm square mesh for increased strength of panel.

To minimise intrusion on your site, we can supply anti-tamper fence clamps that lock the fencing panels together. A unique tool is required to remove the clamps, providing you with greater security and extra peace of mind.

Polyfoot Bases

The "Polyblok" temporary fencing foot is a unique product made from a mix of recycled plastic and recycled rubber.

This environmentally friendly product has been designed with stability, storage and user comfort in mind. At only 17kgs, this foot is one that the installers prefer resulting in much faster installation times without the pain.
