Recruitment
When recruiting people for our business we see customer service, product knowledge and selling skills as critical attributes. We don’t treat our employees differently depending on their role, we see that all roles are critical to servicing our customers and we wouldn’t have the role if it were not important.

Training
Skills based, Nationally recognised training, on job learning, coaching and mentoring, management training, leadership development are all available to our teams and individuals.
Product knowledge training and development is critical to our success as a business if we are to be credible with our customers.
We encourage a shared responsibility for learning, providing tools and opportunities to team members who are expected to utilise the tools, practise the skills and apply new knowledge to the job. We also expect our team members to drive their own learning and ensure their manager knows of their ambition and learning needs.

Geoffrey Dahlsen is the Dahlsens CEO. He is the sixth generation Dahlsen in charge of the Dahlsens group of companies. Since beginning his tenure in 2008, Geoff has worked to transform Dahlsens into a leading supplier of building materials in Victoria, north Queensland, and the Northern Territory and in Broome. Geoff is also a Director of Natbuild.
