At Priority Plumbing we specialise in non-invasive, non-destructive leak detection using experienced tradespeople and specialised equipment. With these resources we are able to identify, locate and repair leaks in all domestic, commercial and industrial pipework and infrastructure.

Pipeline Location

At Priority Plumbing our expertise has developed from our extensive history of locating and tracing lines, and detecting and locating pipework in all situations. We have the knowledge, experience and equipment to locate, trace and detect all water service pipework, metallic pipes, and sewer and stormwater pipes. 

Copper and Metallic Pipe location

Our Metallic Pipe location equipment is a very effective and accurate way of tracing any Copper/Steel/Metallic pipes. This pipe location equipment is highly sensitive and can be adjusted to suit a numbers of situations. The pipe location equipment can trace long distances of metallic pipes and is accurate to within centimetres. This equipment can also give the depth of the pipework that is being investigated.

PVC Pressure/ Plastic and Poly water service pipe location

PVC Pressure/ Plastic and Poly pipe location identification is undertaken using our pulse wave generation equipment in conjunction with a ground microphone. This is done by putting a pulse through the pipework and tracing the pulse through the ground with the highly sensitive ground microphone.

Location of Sewer and Stormwater pipework

We have a number of methods used to locate Sewer and Stormwater pipes. We have specialised sonde location equipment wherein we send a sonde/probe on a feed reel into the pipework. This is then tracked to provide an accurate location underground of where the sonde in the pipework is located. From this, we can give distance and depth measurements prior to excavation, ensuring that our clients have as much information as possible to undertake the work.

Our CCTV cameras have inbuilt sondes in the camera heads. This is particularly valuable when investigating a Sewer/Stormwater drain. With CCTV cameras the issue in the drain can be seen visually, the location of the issue can be easily found, and the minimum damage made to the area to make a repair.

This is particularly useful for broken and/ or cracked drains as the camera can see the extent of the damage in addition to the exact point of damage.

CCTV Inspection and Reporting

Our high quality CCTV units are some of the best available on the market. We use up to date technology to ensure that we are able to deliver the very best imaging in every situation. Our highly specialised equipment has been designed to fit almost every pipeline, providing our clients with visual evidence of pipeline condition every millimetre of the way.

Pipeline Clearing and Cleaning

Blocked and backed-up drainage pipes or a rundown pipeline are hazardous at the best of times. Most conventional methods of line clearing use time consuming and costly mechanical apparatus to complete the task.

The Priority Hydrojet System

Pipeline Integrity Testing

It is much easier than most people realise to cause a crack or complete separation of a pipeline. When this occurs in hidden or underground lines the ramifications of lost gas, liquid or effluent into the atmosphere, drain or watercourse are hazardous; however when it occurs above ground the risks to people can be highly dangerous.
