History

The vision for Serra Drilling came in 1969 when the well on the family farm went dry. When Joe (the current company director) and his father enquired about getting a replacement well drilled, they had to put their name on a waiting list for a drilling company that serviced the area only once every year or two. Joe and his father agreed that there was an opening for a drilling rig on the Atherton Tablelands. Starting off with a homemade drilling rig and no drilling experience at all, they had a lot to learn. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength servicing clients, from mining companies to government departments throughout Queensland.

Our People

All personnel at Serra Drilling are highly experienced in the field of drilling and are trained to a knowledge base that allows us to problem solve and safely execute some of the most difficult drilling projects.
