Sims Metal Australia
Sims Metal has grown to be the leading collector, processor and supplier of recycled metal in Australia. This is made possible through a network of 30 physical locations servicing all states and territories. Our processing capacity, which includes five fragmentisers, shears, balers and granulating plants, operates to the highest environmental and quality standards to produce products that are recognized and sought after throughout the world.

Skip Bins
Used for small, heavy metals such as:
- Steel machine punchings and turnings
- Small, heavy gauge steel plate and offcuts
- Large quantities of nuts and bolts

Roll Off Bins
- Available in a variety of sizes (site dependent) and primarily used for bulkier metal items such as:
- Light gauge and whitegoods
- Rebar
- Steel skeleton plate
- Pallet racking and store shelving
- Steel and aluminum wheels
- Car parts and motors
- Corrugated steel roofing
Forklift Bin
Typically used for non-ferrous metals such as:

Our service to the manufacturing industry includes fast, efficient and reliable collection and removal of metal for recycling. Sims provides a full range of roll off and skip bins as well as bulk tippers, flatbeds and curtain-sided vehicles as required. Sims routes and schedules trucks to pick up your scrap material so it will not interfere with your production.
Temporary Bins – As Needed Collection
Sims provides bins for short terms projects for collection and recycling of metals arising from waste streams, demolition and site clearance projects. All transport is managed by Sims, enabling you to focus on the core aspects of your business.
