Stellar Geospatial was established to service regional areas in the mining, construction and machine guidance industry. Based in Hervey Bay, our team is qualified in surveying, computing and mine engineering and can draw from over 40yrs experience in mine and remote area surveys, civil construction and bulk earthworks projects.
The solar powered GPS base and repeater modules we have on hire were developed in-house out of a need to improve machine up-time and site productivity by eliminating bottlenecks associated with charging and swapping out batteries.
Machine down-time time effects customer profitability and Stellar Geospatial is offering a high-availability “ZERO NET COST” asset with the potential to channel lost opportunity into income earning activity. Cost-effective and portable, our product offers similar "set and forget" function to a comms trailer in a much smaller form factor that can be set up in your site office or out in the field. Easily deployed by a single person, three or four units can be transported in the back of a pickup. Once operational, the system requires very little input and can be effectively operated by on-site personnel given some basic training.
If you already have a GPS base and radios on site and would like to go solar, Stellar Geospatial can hire the solar apparatus, cables and attachments needed to get the maximum benefit from your existing equipment.
Stellar Geospatial offers equipment for both wet and dry hire and considers that a combined service offering initial setup and training plus on-call support is usually the best way forward.
