DOOSAN Puma 280LM

TBAS has two CNC lathes. One Daewoo CT250 with 75mm through spindle, with a CNC bar feeder for repetitive production of parts and a larger Doosan Puma 280LN with 320mm chuck capable of 520mm swing capacity and live tooling on the turret, enabling one off or multiple production. As well as multiple items, TBAS trades people are able to program one off jobs on the CNC machines fast and accurately for quick turnaround.

HORIZONTAL BORER

The 17 Tonne horizontal borer gives TBAS a large boring, turning capability. With a table capacity of 5 Tonnes, the machine can be used to turn big items or bore to a length of up to 2.7 metres between centres. With the tail stock removed, the reach becomes greater again. The 1300X1500 table can travel 1200mm across the bed with a 100mm quill utilizing a travel height of 1200mm, providing large turning and facing capacity.

HAAS VF 3ss

To meet customers’ needs our growth continues with the addition of a third new Vertical Machining Centre. The latest addition in 2011being a HAAS VF-3 Vertical Machining Centre fully equipped with Renishaw Probe system for quick and accurate job set up, a 310mm fully computerized rotary table for shaft repair, keyway and spline work, and numerous additional time saving add-ons. All three TBAS Vertical Machining Centres are equipped with the Renishaw probe systems and rotary tables.
