About Us

Created in 1997 in Sydney and relocated to the Northern Rivers of NSW in 2002, we are a fully licensed and insured Structural Landscaping company with a strong horticultural background. We pride ourselves on being up to date with industry’s best practice by participating in regular Continuous Professional Development.

Interactive Landscape’s Director, Patrick Regnault, is a Registered Horticulturist RH0062 MAIH and the Regional Convener for the Australian Institute of Horticulture for the Far North Coast of NSW. Patrick is a regular contributor to Outdoor Design Source Blog, Subtropical Gardening Magazine, Bangalow Heartbeat and has published articles in Horticultural Therapy Society of NSW Inc

Our aim is to create beautiful gardens that bring people and place together. We listen to what our clients want and use our expertise to create the best possible environment: places that are beautiful to be in and respectful of our surroundings.

There is a sense of satisfaction for us and for our clients when a garden becomes once again life sustaining. This is sustainability in its purest form. A garden that our clients feel has achieved not only a sense of simple beauty but also a sense of harmony.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN

Nowadays, gardens are predominately what bring people in direct contact with the natural environment.

A good gardener will try and acquire a profound understanding of the balance of nature and endeavour to do the best to improve the environment in which the garden is situated.

At Interactive Landscapes this is a philosophy that we put into practice when designing and creating a garden, no matter the size. Our name reflects this as we understand that gardens are a place of interaction. Plants interact with each other, with soil, elemental elements of sun and wind, with birds and insects. Gardens are also a place of interaction between people and a place of reflection and communion with oneself.

We can work with you to plan and design a garden that suits your needs and your location and will conform to council specifications. Our practical knowledge of landscape construction, soils and plants makes for successful long term gardens.

STRUCTURAL LANDSCAPING

We are fully licensed and insured. Our work includes paving, retaining walls built from a variety of materials, pergolas, decking, and soft landscaping.

FENCING

We are fully licensed and insured. We design and build fences from the simplest to the most intricate.

HORTICULTURAL CONSULTANT

Plant and soil health require an up to date knowledge of the biological composition of a garden. As a Registered Horticulturist, Patrick must keep his Continuous Professional Development points current by participation in workshops, conferences combined with a cumulated understanding gained from 37 years of involvement in the ornamental horticulture industry.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We oversee and supervise your project to ensure that the process runs smoothly and efficiently. We can draw together the skills and resources of specialised trades people and develop realistic strategies and schedules to bring your project to fruition.
